Food Chains and Food Webs In The Boreal Forest
There are a wide array of species and organisms living in the Boreal Forest in Canada. This of course leads to number of different food webs/chains. However there are some major ones. Major because they either contain important organisms or major because they contain a wide array of organisms.
One such major food web involves all tiers found in a typical food web. (Primary Producers, Primary Consumers, Secondary Consumers, Tertiary Consumer). It also has important and recognised species in it. Primary Producers: There are five primary producers in this particular food web. They are:
